1. About ATPL Tests
ATPL Tests (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is the name of an independent online aviation study platform at atpltests.com. The platform is operated from Poland as an unregistered business activity and is available to users worldwide.
These Terms govern access to the platform, its learning and community features, and ATPL Plus subscriptions. Our contact address for support, complaints, and account requests is contact@atpltests.com.
2. Our services and their educational purpose
The platform provides a question database, Practice sessions, Mock Exams, explanations, progress and session history, question search, collections, saved or marked questions, personal notes, flashcards, comments, notifications, and question-reporting tools, depending on the feature and access mode.
Selected guest features may be used without an account. Account-linked study tools and comments require registration. Comments are visible only to logged-in users. We do not currently provide a separate discussion forum.
The service supports private study. It is not an official examination service or an official publication of the European Central Question Bank (ECQB). We do not represent that the platform is approved or endorsed by EASA or any aviation authority.
Practice scores and Mock Exam results are study feedback. They do not issue qualifications or determine licensing eligibility. We do not guarantee an examination result or that any particular question will appear in an official exam.
Educational materials may contain errors or become outdated. Check current authoritative sources and raise suspected errors through the available reporting tools. The platform must not be relied on for operational flight decisions or used in place of required training, current regulations, or official operational documentation. These statements do not remove rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
3. ATPL Free and ATPL Plus
The entire ATPL question bank remains free. ATPL Free includes access to all questions and all 13 subjects, Practice sessions, Mock Exams, and question search. Creating a free account does not create a paid subscription or authorise recurring charges.
ATPL Free also includes selected study tools with the following limits:
- Notes: up to 3 saved notes.
- Collections: one active collection with up to 15 accessible questions.
- Explanations: access to explanations for 15 different questions within a 24-hour window starting with the first explanation unlocked in that window. Reopening an explanation already unlocked during the same window does not use an additional allowance.
- Statistics: an illustrative preview rather than access to your personal statistics.
ATPL Plus is an optional paid subscription providing unlimited saved notes, collections and saved questions, unlimited explanations, flashcards, and personal statistics. It provides the same complete question bank available through ATPL Free. Personal-account and acceptable-use rules apply to both plans.
Price and billing: the standard ATPL Plus subscription costs €8.99 per month. The first payment is collected at checkout and the subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. There is no free trial for this standard offer. Before ordering, you will be shown the subscription features, total amount payable including any applicable taxes, billing frequency, and the obligation to make recurring payments.
A paid subscription requires your express order through checkout. The subscription agreement is formed when your order is accepted and confirmed. Plus access is activated following successful payment confirmation. Payment processing is provided through Stripe. Keep your billing details accurate and use a payment method you are authorised to use.
Cancelling renewal: you may cancel automatic renewal through the available membership or subscription controls, or contact us for assistance. To prevent the next scheduled charge, cancel before the next renewal is processed. Cancelling renewal does not by itself end access already paid for: Plus remains available until the end of the current paid period, after which your account returns to Free. Payments are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law. We do not offer discretionary refunds or credits for the unused part of a paid period. Section 11 explains this policy and the statutory rights that remain unaffected.
If a payment fails or a subscription expires, Plus access may be suspended or end. Access can resume after the required payment is successfully confirmed. We will provide relevant payment or membership notifications where applicable.
Your saved data: returning to Free does not by itself delete your notes, collections, or learning history. Free-plan limits apply again, so some saved content or features may become restricted. Existing notes above the Free limit remain readable, editable, and deletable, while creating additional notes is restricted. Data retention and deletion follow the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Voluntary support payments are separate from Plus subscriptions and follow Section 10. Changes to plans or subscription prices follow Sections 12 and 15 and applicable law. An existing paid period will not be repriced retrospectively. Any proposed increase affecting future renewals will be notified in advance, with an opportunity to cancel before it takes effect and express agreement where required by law.
4. Eligibility and registration
Users under 18 may use the platform. You must have the legal capacity required to enter into the account agreement. Where applicable law requires authorisation by a parent or legal guardian, that authorisation must be obtained, or the agreement must be entered into on your behalf as required.
Separate age and consent requirements may apply to personal-data processing and external payment services. Permission to use our study platform does not automatically establish eligibility to use a payment provider.
To register, provide the information required by the registration form, including a usable email address, a username or nickname, and a password. Do not impersonate another person or provide misleading account details.
The account agreement is formed when you complete registration after being presented with these Terms and your account is activated. You must have an opportunity to read and save the Terms before registration. Mandatory legal requirements concerning contract formation and minors remain unaffected.
5. Personal accounts and login restrictions
Each account is strictly for the individual learner for whom it was created. Sharing, lending, transferring, or selling an account is prohibited, including sharing with friends, family, or a training group.
You may use different devices at different times. Simultaneous login sessions or parallel use of the same account are prohibited. We may restrict concurrent sessions and investigate reasonably suspected account sharing.
A parent or guardian may assist with necessary account administration or legal requests for a younger learner; this does not permit several people to use one account for studying.
Take reasonable steps to protect your credentials, keep your contact details current, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. You are not automatically responsible for every unauthorised act regardless of its cause. Liability is determined under applicable law.
6. Technical requirements
You need an internet connection, a device with a supported and up-to-date web browser, and JavaScript enabled for interactive learning tools. Account features also require the browser storage necessary for authentication and the requested functionality. A functioning email address is needed for registration and important account communications.
Some features depend on browser capabilities. Blocking essential scripts or storage may prevent those features from working. Consent to optional analytics is not a condition of maintaining an account.
7. Study materials and intellectual property
Our educational resources are independently compiled and developed using student feedback and reference materials. Copyright, database rights, and other intellectual-property rights remain with their respective holders. We do not claim ownership of every third-party work or reference used in connection with the platform.
Access is provided for your personal study, subject to rights we are entitled to grant and any permissions or exceptions provided by law. Except where lawfully permitted or separately authorised, you must not redistribute or resell the question database or materials, systematically extract substantial parts of them, publish copies on another service, or bypass technical access controls.
Public availability of a source does not, by itself, authorise its copying or redistribution. Do not submit confidential examination material, copied third-party question banks, protected illustrations, or other material you are not entitled to share.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of third-party rights or removes exceptions and permissions provided by applicable law.
8. Comments, notes, and user contributions
You retain any rights you hold in your own comments, notes, and other contributions. You must have the rights or other lawful basis necessary to submit the material.
By submitting a comment, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission, effective worldwide, to store, technically reproduce, display to logged-in users, and moderate it, solely as needed to operate the relevant service. Providers supporting the platform may handle it for those purposes. This permission does not authorise unrelated advertising or resale of your contribution.
Personal notes and collections are account-specific study features. Technical permission to store and process them does not authorise publishing them to other users. Access for support, security, or administration is addressed in the Privacy Policy.
Handling of contributions after deletion or account closure follows applicable law, the Privacy Policy, and the limited permissions necessary for any lawful continued retention. Retention of a discussion does not create an unlimited right to reuse its contents.
Comments reflect their authors’ views and may contain mistakes. Evaluate them critically and report suspected errors or unlawful content.
9. Acceptable use and reporting content
You must not:
- harass, threaten, discriminate against, or unlawfully defame others;
- publish unlawful content, infringe intellectual-property rights, or disclose another person’s private information without a lawful basis;
- submit malware, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with the security or availability of the platform;
- send spam, engage in fraud or impersonation, or publish unsolicited advertising;
- share accounts, evade justified restrictions, or bypass authentication and access controls;
- use automated or bulk collection that exceeds permitted uses or disrupts the service;
- use the platform to facilitate cheating during an examination or breach examination confidentiality.
Report suspected unlawful content or infringement to contact@atpltests.com. Identify the question, comment, or URL; explain the concern; and include information reasonably needed to assess it. Where appropriate, provide your contact details and confirmation that the report is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not send unnecessary sensitive data.
We assess reports diligently and may request clarification. Unlawful-content reports and action required by law are handled without undue delay. The complaints response period in Section 11 does not permit postponing urgent legal or security action. Where applicable, we acknowledge a report, communicate our decision and reasons, and explain available review options, subject to legal and security restrictions. Decisions must take account of the circumstances and applicable rights.
10. Voluntary one-time support
You may choose to support the platform through Buy Me a Coffee, with payments processed through Stripe. Support is optional and one-time. It does not purchase access, a membership, additional features, privileges, or preferential treatment.
A support payment does not start a recurring subscription. A contribution is not a promise that every feature will remain unchanged or that the service will continue indefinitely.
Payments are subject to the applicable Buy Me a Coffee terms and Stripe’s relevant payment terms and eligibility requirements. Those providers may have their own age restrictions.
Voluntary support is generally final, and a change of mind does not automatically entitle you to a refund. This does not exclude refunds required by law, applicable payment-provider rules, or the review of duplicate, mistaken, or unauthorised charges.
For a payment issue, contact us with the date, amount, and transaction reference if available. Do not send full card details. We will assess the issue and cooperate with the payment provider where appropriate. Contacting us does not restrict statutory rights or available bank dispute procedures.
11. Refund policy, complaints, and consumer rights
11.1. No voluntary refunds
ATPL Plus payments are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law. We do not offer a voluntary money-back guarantee.
We do not provide discretionary refunds or credits for a change of mind, lack of use, limited use, completing or passing an examination, no longer needing the service, or forgetting to cancel automatic renewal. These circumstances do not, by themselves, create an entitlement to a refund. Any statutory rights that apply to the circumstances remain unaffected.
Cancelling automatic renewal stops future renewals and your Plus access continues until the end of the current paid period. We do not provide discretionary partial refunds for unused days within that period.
A renewal payment processed before cancellation is subject to the same refund policy. Cancelling after a renewal does not, by itself, reverse that payment. An ordinary automatic renewal of an existing subscription does not, by itself, create a new statutory withdrawal period; any rights arising under applicable law remain unaffected.
11.2. Statutory withdrawal
Where you are entitled to withdraw from a distance account or Plus subscription agreement under applicable consumer law, you may do so without giving a reason within 14 days of conclusion of the relevant agreement, subject to any statutory extension or exception. This right is separate from ordinary cancellation of automatic renewal.
To exercise an applicable right of withdrawal, send a clear statement to contact@atpltests.com, identifying yourself and the relevant agreement. No particular wording is required. For example: “I notify you that I withdraw from the ATPL Tests [account / Plus subscription] agreement concluded on 2026, associated with [account email].” Include your name and the date of the request.
Following a valid withdrawal from a paid agreement, we will reimburse amounts due under applicable law without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise without additional cost to you.
If you expressly requested performance of the service before the withdrawal period ended, a proportionate amount for services already supplied may be payable only where all applicable legal conditions have been met. Accessing the platform or accepting these Terms alone does not waive your statutory withdrawal right.
11.3. Service problems and payment errors
The no-voluntary-refund policy does not exclude mandatory consumer rights concerning the supply or conformity of digital services. Depending on the circumstances and the conditions prescribed by law, available remedies may include bringing the service into conformity, a proportionate price reduction, or termination and an appropriate refund. A service being free of charge does not by itself exclude every consumer-protection rule.
Duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorised charges may be reported for investigation and correction where appropriate. Nothing in these Terms restricts statutory payment rights or available bank dispute procedures.
11.4. Contact and complaints
Send complaints about the platform, account restrictions, or transactions to contact@atpltests.com. Describe the problem, when it occurred, and the outcome you seek. Include only the account or transaction information needed to identify the matter. Do not send full payment-card details.
We will respond within 14 calendar days of receiving a complaint, unless applicable law requires a shorter period. If more information is needed, we will explain what is required. A request for clarification does not automatically restart or extend a statutory deadline.
You may also close your account at any time as described in Section 13. Account closure does not, by itself, create an entitlement to a discretionary refund or limit a separate statutory remedy. Privacy-rights requests are handled under the Privacy Policy and the deadlines applicable to those requests.
12. Availability and changes to the service
We maintain the platform with reasonable care. Maintenance, security work, technical failures, or external incidents may cause interruptions. We cannot promise uninterrupted availability or error-free educational content.
We may update features or materials for valid reasons, such as legal requirements, security, compatibility, correction of errors, syllabus changes, or maintaining a technically and operationally sustainable service.
For material reductions in existing functionality or discontinuation of the service, we will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable and comply with any applicable requirements concerning notice on a durable medium, access to user content, and termination rights. Urgent legal or security action may require shorter notice.
Where law gives you a right to terminate because a change adversely affects your use, that right remains available. Changes to the Free or Plus plans follow Section 3. Where a change to a paid service gives rise to a statutory right to terminate or obtain a refund, that right remains unaffected.
13. Restrictions, suspension, and account closure
We may issue a warning, restrict a feature, remove or restrict a contribution, temporarily suspend access, or close an account where reasonably justified by a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, account sharing, a substantiated security or abuse concern, unlawful content, or a legal requirement.
Action will be proportionate to the circumstances. Where appropriate and safe, we will explain the issue and allow an opportunity to correct it. Immediate temporary action may be necessary to protect users or the service.
Where required or appropriate, we will notify you of the decision, the relevant reason, and how to request a review. You can challenge a decision by emailing our contact address with the relevant details. We will reconsider it in light of your explanation.
You may close your account through the available account-deletion settings or by contacting us. Merely stopping use does not automatically delete your account. If you have an active Plus subscription, use the cancellation controls or tell us that your closure request also concerns your subscription. We will address future renewal as part of a request to close your account; closing an account does not itself determine entitlement to a refund for a paid period. Personal-data handling, transaction records, backups, and any lawful retention of contributions follow the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Account closure does not remove rights or obligations that by their nature must continue, including the resolution of existing complaints and legitimate legal claims.
14. Responsibility, privacy, and third-party services
Our responsibilities are determined by applicable law. Statements about educational limitations and availability do not remove obligations we owe to you.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable liability for intentional misconduct, death or personal injury, mandatory consumer protection, or data-protection obligations.
Failure to pass an examination or a difference between practice results and official results does not, by itself, establish a breach by us. This does not prevent a claim where a breach and liability are established under applicable law.
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled. Agreement to these Terms is not blanket consent to optional analytics or marketing.
External payment services and linked websites are governed by their own applicable terms. Those terms do not automatically remove our own responsibilities. Google Analytics and Search Console, where used, are described in the Privacy Policy rather than treated as services you must purchase or register for to study.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms for valid reasons, including changes in law, security requirements, technical operation, or the clearly described scope of the service.
For an ordinary material change affecting existing account agreements, we will give at least 30 days’ advance notice by email or another legally sufficient durable medium. A shorter period may be necessary where law or an urgent security issue requires it; we will explain the reason where permitted.
The notice will describe the change and its effective date. Where express agreement is required, we will request it. You may close your account before a change takes effect. Your rights regarding service changes or termination under mandatory law remain unaffected.
Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued rights, and these Terms do not authorise charging you for a paid plan without your express order. Each version will show its update date.
16. Governing law, disputes, and contact
These Terms are governed by Polish law. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections under another country’s law that apply under the relevant conflict-of-laws rules.
Courts have jurisdiction according to applicable law. Where consumer-jurisdiction rules allow you to bring proceedings in your country of residence, that right is preserved. These Terms do not impose an exclusive Polish-court requirement contrary to those rules.
You may contact us to seek an amicable resolution. Doing so is not a mandatory condition for exercising legal remedies. Where available, you may seek assistance from a competent consumer-advice or alternative dispute-resolution body.
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, mandatory law determines its effect and the continued operation of the remaining agreement. No provision is intended to waive rights that cannot be waived.
